The Aeronautical Development Agency (ADA) of the Defense Research and Development Organization (DRDO) will probably issue an interest in a few weeks to obtain offers for the selection of a production partner for the 5.5 generation media fighting planes (AMCA), since the first prototype is planned between 2026 and 2027.
According to Sources, the interest -issued interest is expected to take the up -and -coming indigenous aerospace sector and offer them the opportunity to get into the manufacture and supply chain of 5.5 generation -stealth -AMCA.
Some of the similar Indian company-like Tata Advanced Systems LTD (TASL), L&T, Mahindra Aerospace, Dynamatic Technologies, Bharat Forge, Sanssera Engineering, Azad Engineering, AEQUS and Godrej Aerospace already offer providers and components of Goodrej, as you can list aircraft.
Other global aerospace companies Pratt & Whitney, Rolls-Royce and Collins Aerospace also expand the procurement from India.
Defense Minister Rajnath Singh released the program on May 26 to start the production of AMCA through the private participation of Maiden in order to overcome the long -awaited lack of capacity of the Indian Air Force.
The announcement made it clear that only an indigenous company, including a non-governmental company, can occur for the AMCA offer, although it is free to either form a joint venture with other companies or to get to a consortium.
The ADA, which the project had carried out, will select the production partner and lead the program for the first production of five prototypes of the next general stealth aircraft. Depending on the result, orders follow.
In order to be based on public-private partnerships, Hindustan Aeronautics Limited (HAL), which will be exposed to a license for the production of fighter aircraft for the IAF for the first time, had already compiled proposals from local companies for future faster production of Aerospace platforms last year.
Currently, the HAL 24 has to evaluate answers that the indigenous companies have received to form a consortium to offer the AMCA program.
While HAL will be the main partner, other players who get into the closer election due to their experience and financial strength will receive equity, depending on the money they have invested.
They had also informed the Ministry of Defense before the Indian Air Force (IAF) under the direction of Defense Minister Rajesh Kumar Singh had authorized the committee for expanding the Indian Air Force to “optimally” report their report on short, medium and long-term measures to achieve the IAF’s IAF target.
The state-owned company also proposed its willingness to open up for private participation in the production of fighter planes in order to accelerate the entire process and to expand the domestic aerospace ecosystem.
In fact, HAL is already experimenting with the public-private partnership. A TEJAS LCA MK-1-aircraft, which is being built for the first time with private participation, has been ready for some time.
Since the first middle hull assembly for the LCA MK-1A was handed over by VEM technologies to Hyderabad to Hyderabad on May 30, the rear fuselage is carried out by Alpha Tocol.
Vertical fins and radars were outsourced to the Tasl and wings to the L&T. There are also others who contribute to the development of Tejas jets.
