The administration of US President Donald Trump has revoked the ability of Harvard University to register international students and will force existing students to switch to other schools or lose their legal status, the Ministry of Homeland Security said on Thursday.

Kristi Noem, secretary of the home protection authority, ordered the department to terminate the Student and Exchange Visitor Program (Exchange Visitor Visitor Program) at Harvard University, the department said in a statement.

Harvard illegally called the lawsuit.

The move takes place after Harvard has refused to provide information that no one had asked for some foreign student visa owners who visit the university, the department said.

“Harvard is responsible for promoting violence, anti -Semitism and coordination with the Chinese party’s Communist Party on their campus,” said Noem. “It is a privilege to not register foreign students and benefit from their higher tuition fees in order to promote their foundations of several billion dollars.”

Harvard said the move threatened serious damage to the university.

“The government’s measures are illegal. We are fully obliged to maintain Harvard’s ability to align international students and scientists who come from more than 140 countries and – and this nation – enriched immeasurably, in a statement, the university.”

The White House did not react immediately to inquiries about comments.

The step marks a significant escalation of the Trump government campaign against Elite Ivy League University in Cambridge, Massachusetts, which turned out to be one of Trump’s most prominent institutional goals.

The Republican President has made extraordinary efforts to reorganize private universities and schools in the United States. He criticized Harvard in particular for the attitude of prominent Democrats for teaching or management positions.
