This contract brings the total number of satellites used by Spire Space Services for Myriota to over 40.
Spire Global, Inc., a global provider of spatial, analysis and space services, announced an extended space agreement with Myriota to design, build and operate 16 satellites with improved second-generation payloads for the IoT provider.
These new starts will see Myriotas IoT connectivity They become over 40 satellites. Since initially the partnership in 2021, Myriota has quickly scaled its IoT connectivity platform and effectively costs by providing his network software on Spire satellites that are optimized to host and carry out the advanced network of MyRiota in the room. With this agreement, MyRiota extends with Spire Space Services in Satellite Hardware in Space.
“In a world in which IoT connectivity is becoming increasingly important, satellites and space technology are more than just tools. They are fundamental to the future of global communication networks” Said Theresa Condor, CEO of Spire Global. “With the increasing constellation of Myriota, our cooperation with you is growing and expands from software to hardware with payloads that address the critical gaps in IoT communication. With Spire Space Services, we are pleased to continue our long-term work with myriota how the world is connected.”
The expansion of the global room infrastructure of MyRiota enables scalable and more reliable IoT connectivity for intelligent devices worldwide. Myriota customers have extended security, faster data access, reduced latency and the improvement of the device control and firmware update functions.
“With regard to sectors from agriculture and water to logistics, satellite-connected IoT sensors offer unprecedented insights into the company and lead to dramatic improvements in operational efficiency.” said Ben Cade, CEO of Myriota. “At Myriota we work with customers around the world and deliver ultra-low-lower-down power plants, whereby the sensor battery is measured in the years. We look forward to working with Spire to further expand our network to help more industries in more countries to get critical intelligence from the field, and use this to achieve better results for industry, society and planet.”
